Digital textbooks

Textbooks that come to life

We turn textbooks into digital apps with interactive exercises, audio and video, tailored for computers, tablets, and phones.

What you get

Your printed textbook, transformed into an interactive digital app that complies with Ministry of Education requirements. It works offline too, as a standalone application on computer, tablet, and phone.

We've been in this field since 2016 and have since built our own production workflow. This matters especially during bidding periods, when volume is high and deadlines are short: we provide both a DEMO version for the submission and a final version for delivery.

What a digital textbook contains

Interactive exercises

We integrate exercises with single or multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, drag-and-drop, and mixed quizzes, with feedback for the student. We can also use H5P content when it’s most suitable.

Audio, video, and animations

We integrate static and multimedia materials directly into the textbook pages, including audio recordings, videos, animations, and interactive maps, without splitting them into appendices.

Works offline too

The textbook is delivered as a standalone HTML app and can be used without an internet connection, including in classrooms where network access is limited.

On any screen

Content adapts from the classroom interactive whiteboard to the student’s phone, without requiring separate versions for each device.

How we produce them

Turning a printed textbook into digital means extracting and correcting text, identifying page structure, processing images, integrating resources, and checking the result. We have built our own workflow that automates the mechanical parts and keeps editorial decisions under human control.

Automation with human verification. Pages are automatically analyzed and segmented, then presented to an operator in a visual interface. Each element can be corrected and validated before being included in the textbook.

The workflow preserves versions and change histories, runs automated quality checks, and generates reproducible exports: the same content always produces the same result on each generation.

Who it's for

For textbook publishers who need to deliver digital versions that comply with Ministry of Education requirements, at high volumes and tight bidding deadlines. We also work with training providers or publishers who have valuable content on paper or in PDF and want to turn it into a digital product without rewriting from scratch.

Who it's not for

Our service starts with existing educational content and doesn't include writing the textbook from scratch. We work together with the publisher and its authors to transform materials into a digital format.

An educational platform with users, catalogs, assessments, and school administration is a different type of project. We can analyze that separately if that's what you need.

Pricing

It depends on the number of pages, how clean the source material is, and how many interactive and multimedia resources go into the textbook. A well-structured born-digital PDF and a scanned one don’t require the same effort.

You send us a few representative pages, we run them through our workflow, and give you a per-page estimate and timeline before we start. For bidding periods, we set from the start which content goes into the DEMO and which into the final version.

Invoicing is in RON; amounts in EUR are converted at the BNR exchange rate on the invoicing day. Prices do not include VAT.

How we work

From your materials to the delivery package.

1. We receive your materials

We receive the textbook PDFs and any existing resources. We analyze a few representative pages to determine the real effort and estimate the project.

2. We process and structure

We extract the text, identify page structure, and prepare the images. An operator checks and corrects each page before it moves on to the next stage.

3. We build interactivity

We add the exercises, audio materials, video clips, and animations, and adapt the content for all screen types.

4. Proofreading, testing, delivery

We go through proofreading and acceptance stages together with your team, then prepare DEMO packages and final versions for submission and distribution.
